At Riverview, we believe God has given us a direction and that is to Be Disciples who Make Disciples.  We believe that God has called us to grow in our relationship with Jesus and lead others to know Him and grow in their relationship with Him. We do this by following The Discipleship Journey and taking the name of Jesus To East Knoxville and the Nations.

Riverview Baptist Church is a historical church established in 1891 in East Knoxville. In 2023, Riverview agreed to partner with Wallace Memorial Baptist Church to support its revitalization efforts, as Riverview was close to closing their doors in 2023. Now in 2026, Riverview is seeing the fruit of that partnership and growth in our neighborhood in East Knoxville.

Riverview aims to be a church that is Biblical, Missional, and Diverse. As we love East Knoxville, we hope to reach and reflect our community.
